BounceBox uses third-party AI services to read your mail and answer your questions. Before it sends them any of your data, it asks for your permission.

The permission screen

The first time you sign in — on the dashboard or in the mobile app — you see How BounceBox uses AI. It appears before you set up your first mailbox, because a mailbox starts AI processing as soon as mail arrives.

Read what we send and who receives it

The screen lists the data and the providers. It is the same on the web and in the app.

Choose an option

Tap Allow and continue to go on. Tap Read the Privacy Policy for the full details. Tap Sign out if you don’t want to continue.
You are asked once per account. Your choice is saved to your account, so you don’t see the screen again on another device or after signing out and back in.
BounceBox can’t read mail or answer questions without these AI providers. If you don’t allow them, you can’t continue into the dashboard or the app.

What we send

  • Emails and attachments that arrive at your BounceBox addresses, and files you upload or scan. They are used to extract order and invoice data and match it to your catalog.
  • Text you write for AI features. This includes your Ask AI questions and the plain-language description you give when you set up a mailbox with AI.
  • Workspace data Ask AI looks up to answer your questions, such as emails, results and SKUs, plus your account email.

Who receives it

These providers use your data only to provide these features, under terms that protect it as the Privacy Policy does.
  • Privacy Policy — the full list of providers and how long data is kept.
  • Mobile app — signing in on your phone.
  • FAQ — retention and deletion questions.
