BounceBox notifies you when something needs your attention. You control which channels deliver notifications and which events trigger them in Settings → Notifications — on the web dashboard and in the mobile app. Each surface manages its own push channel: web push is configured on the dashboard, mobile push in the app.

Channels

Three channels, each with its own switch:
  • Web push — notifications in this browser, even when the dashboard tab is closed. Managed on the web dashboard. Turning it on asks for the browser’s notification permission. If you block the prompt, the switch stays off and the row shows the permission as blocked; enable notifications for the site in your browser settings to use it. Each browser you enable gets its own subscription.
  • Mobile push — notifications on devices where you’re signed in to the BounceBox app. Managed in the app’s Settings. The app asks once after sign-in whether to enable it, and enabling it requests the OS notification permission — if the OS still refuses, the app offers a shortcut into system settings.
  • Email — messages sent to your account email address.

Notification types

The Notify me when toggles apply to every enabled channel at once: Tapping or clicking a notification opens the relevant email in the inbox. Quota alerts link to Billing.
Quota alerts are sent at most once per month per cause — a burst of over-quota emails won’t spam your inbox.

Turning everything off

Switch off all three channels to silence notifications entirely. The per-type toggles stay visible but inactive until at least one channel is on.
